Attractions list according
to the location on the map

1. Belgrade Fortress (Beogradska Tvrdava)
The fortress of Belgrade is the city's main attraction, offering stunning views on a beautiful day. The fortress has stood since the early first century CE, with construction continuing until the 18th century. Throughout history, it has been built, destroyed, conquered, and rebuilt multiple times by various rulers. Its strategic importance comes from its location above the confluence of the Danube and Sava rivers. The fortress features an upper and lower tower and now houses a museum dedicated to the history of Belgrade.

The primary reason to visit the fortress is the breathtaking view of the river confluence. On a clear day, the scenery is spectacular. Within the fortress complex stands the "Victor" statue, placed on a 14-meter-high pillar. Inaugurated in 1928, 16 years after its design, the statue commemorates the city's liberation from the Ottoman Empire. Today, it is a prominent symbol of Belgrade and a key feature of its landscape.
