Romania is a country of amazing beauty with a lot of authenticity of the past. We experienced a trip that the children will remember for many, many years to come. We climbed mountains, we entered the bowels of the earth, we were princes (sorry, I have 4 sons) in the palace and warriors in the fortresses we tasted everything of everything. Finally my wife (who has Romanian roots) tasted papaanche. In short - amazing!!!!
Navigation: GPS in the car + a backup of the navigator software (free software that only needs GPS) that was loaded on the Romania map ahead of time. The level of the roads in Romania is good, there are many signs and quite easy to navigate.

3. Gondola Sinaia
The cable car in the town of Sinaia is the closest to Bucharest, about 125 km from the capital of Romania. The cable car has 2 parts, one starts from the town at a height of 1400 meters, another cable car continues up to a height of 2000 meters above sea level. At the highest observation point, on top of the Bucegi mountains. The view is spectacular The beauty and the view is stunning as you will see in the panoramic video I took, make sure you arrive on a clear day with good visibility, I still climbed a few tens of meters to the top to the highest observation point.
Highlights: You can pay only for the first part (up to 1400 meters) or for both parts (up to 2000 meters)
The castle was used as the summer residence of the Romanian royal family and is considered one of the most beautiful palaces in Romania.
A central attraction in a place that is recommended not to be missed, a winning combination with a Chinese gondola that are quite close to each other. Flesh Castle was built by King Carol I after he fell in love with the picturesque town. Its high location allows a wide view of the Carpathian mountains, and the wide gardens that surround it will make you feel like you are in one of the children's fairy tales.
There are a lot of sellers of berries, don't buy from the first one because its price is twice as much as the ones you will see later
At the end of the visit to Bran, get in the car and continue driving on the same E574 road that continues south, surrounds the palace and continues through authentic villages and breathtaking views. Driving through the beautiful village of Moeciu and on the road that climbs up to a height of over 1000 meters, from where you can see the authentic villages from above. The look is beautiful and special. After a 30-minute drive, you reach the Podul Dambovita bridge, and from there turn right on road 730, and after a 10-minute drive, you begin to enter through the Damboviciura gorge. The passage between the cliffs of Piatra Craiului (Piatra Craiului) at a height of 70-90 meters and on the sides of the road flows the river Piatra Craiului. The area is pastoral, the air is clean and refreshing and goats and eagles live there. You should stop the car and take a walk along the wonderful channel. The road leads to the Demvicioara cave. The cave is a stalactite cave.
In the cave there are stalactites created by the slow accumulation of water droplets that have seeped through the earth for millions of years. The length of the cave is 555 meters, of which only 244 meters are accessible to visitors, its width is 3-4 meters and its height is over two meters so that you can walk inside it comfortably.

Bran Castle is one of the most famous castles in Romania and around the world. Shrouded in mystery, it became famous as Dracula's castle, although there is really no connection between the castle and the cruel count.
A very touristic place, pay attention to the time you arrive, otherwise you will only see other people's feet on the stairs

The dinosaur park in Brashanov is a great place for children, the park has a visitor center with a 9-dimensional movie (length of 6 minutes - at a cost of about NIS 10). Simulates a real roller coaster ride sitting on chairs that move according to the movie and with 3D glasses. From there, you go on a leisurely route in the park where there are models of dinosaurs in life-size! It's really fun to take a picture with your head or hand in their mouth. In the center of the park, there is a huge playground and also an adventure park with walking on stilts at a height, a variety of swings, and facilities. There is also a laser maze (it was closed when we were there) and a craft corner for children.
The resort town of Poiana Brasov is about 15 km south of Brasov on the DN1E road. In the winter, it is a popular ski town, while in the summer, it is a beautiful kit town that is an excellent base for trips to the surrounding mountains. The area offers lots of fun outdoor activities - hiking, ATV and jeep tours, paragliding, horseback riding, etc. The greatest fun, of course, is to take a cable car to the peaks of the Postฤvarul mountains, from which you can see wonderful views of the entire region, including the upper part of the Prahova valley Spectacular. One of Brasov's famous sites is the Black Church. It is one of the largest Gothic churches in Eastern Europe. The German Lutheran community in Brasov built it in 1477. In 1689, during one of the battles between the Christians and the Turks, it caught fire, and its walls turned black, hence its name.

The beautiful and lively central square of the city, and for entertainment and dinner in the nearby pedestrian street, full of shops, pizzerias and restaurants.
The RUPEA fortress, located about an hour and a quarter from Brasov, was built in the Middle Ages overlooking the surrounding villages. The Saxons established it to prevent enemy invasions. It is built in the shape of a spiral and has been preserved for hundreds of years.
Those who like castles and knights - this is the place for them.
Drive along the E60 road for about fifty minutes until you reach Sighisoara. It is a beautiful and well-preserved city, which is considered to be the birthplace of Vlad III, he is Dracula. The entire ancient center of Sighisoara has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
